The Alliston Business Improvement Association (BIA) was formed to support existing businesses and encourage their expansion, while attracting new businesses to locate in the downtown. The Alliston BIA has been an integral part of forming the identity of the downtown core and businesses in Alliston through its many initiatives and events it hosts yearly.

The Mission of the Alliston BIA is to support the promotion and development of the business areas of Alliston, to create a vibrant downtown to support the established businesses, entice new businesses, and validate Alliston’s image as an independent, viable progressive centre of commerce.
